The value of any outfit, I believe, depends on the variety of occasions or events it can be worn on. The perfect outfit should be suitable both for work, and hanging out later, that is, a day to night look. Sounds good, right? However, such an outfit is difficult to find. Thankfully, Uptownie sent me 2 jumpsuits, which were perfect for the work to party look. All it took for the outfit to transform from work look to party look was a bit of styling, and accessories.

Of the 2, one was Navy Blue Buttoned Up Jumpsuit, and the Black contrast lining Jumpsuit with Detailed Neck. The material of the both the outfits was soft and comfortable, and the colors were soothing on the eye.

For the day look, I paired the Blue Jumpsuit with White sneakers, and a backpack, buttoned the suit up and wore a high ponytail, setting it up as the perfect college/day look. Better yet, all it took to change the look, was replacing the backpack with a Sling Bag, the sneakers with Heels, wearing a gold detailed neck piece, opening up my hair, and wearing a bold lipshade and voila! it transformed to a Party/Night look.

For the second outfit, I followed a different approach. I tried styling them in ways which can be worn both during day and night. For the first look, I kept a very sleek hairstyle with big silver hoops, and wore silver heels. This look gave a very sophisticated feel to it which is perfect for formal gatherings. You can always replace the heels with sneakers, for a college/day look. For the second look I paired the jumpsuit with simple black block heels, I kept my hair open and wore a bold red lip shade. This bold yet fun look is perfect for informal gatherings and parties.

This goes to show the myriad ways an outfit can be styled, and how little tweaks can transform your look. The outfits by Uptownie were perfect for this.
